It has been 5 months now that I called Jakarta as "home". It was since I have to be jobseeker in November and finally get the job here in January. Well now i have to experience the old saying "capital city (ibukota) is meaner than stepmother (ibu tiri)" ^_^
First impression of Jakarta,,, I realized that this is really a big city!! especially compare to my previous home city; surabaya, bandung, groningen.. The distance from one place to another is quite far,, added with the infamous traffic jam,, it takes a lot of time for you to go anywhere here in Jakarta.
Jakarta is the capital of business, politic, and lifestyle in Indonesia. It makes Jakarta have very broad places of interest. From historical places, trade center, park, traditional food, lifestyle center, and modern shopping center.
Overall,, you will never have nothing to do in Jakarta,,, We'll deliver the news so that you can ENJOY JAKARTA!!!! ^_^
Ian, I've edited and fixed the grammatical mistakes of this entry and I saved it as a "draft" in djakarta travelers... hahaha... You can review and publish it by logging into your wordpress account and checking the drafts section..!! :D
